Ives & Associates, Inc. is celebrating its 30th year in the executive search industry. Our consultants have combined experience of over 90 years. We have completed staffing assignments for Fortune 500 companies as well as small- to medium-sized businesses.
Phyllis Ives has been recruiting for over 30 years, specializing in the human resources and marketing arenas. Her expertise crosses many industries such as retail, pharmaceutical, financial services, and consumer packaged goods. Phyllis holds a B.S. degree from New York University and is CEO of Ives & Associates, Inc.
H. Jay Canowitz joined Ives & Associates, Inc. in 1992. He holds an undergraduate degree from Miami University and a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati. As head of our Project Lawyers division, Jay specializes in the recruitment of attorneys and paralegals. As President of Ives & Associates, Inc., Jay specializes in the accounting and finance disciplines.
Stephanie McGinty has over 13 years in the recruitment field and joined Ives & Associates, Inc. in 2005. She holds a B.S. degree from Ohio University and a Masters from Michigan State. Stephanie specializes in healthcare/pharmaceuticals. She has worked with a variety of companies including drug manufacturers, medical education/clinical, market research and product commercialization.
Amy Lock joined Ives & Associates, Inc. and Project Lawyers in 2005. She holds both her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Capital University. Amy specializes in the placement of marketing executives, in the areas of brand management, loyalty marketing, Interactive and market research. She has worked with companies in Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical and Retail. Amy additionally works in the legal arena placing both attorneys and paralegals.
Brian Shaw has over 15 years of experience in the staffing industry and joined Ives & Associates in 2011 to lead its Contract Staffing Division. He holds his B.A. degree in Marketing Communications from Michigan State. Brian has a diverse background in sales and operations and specializes in the placement of top talent in human resources, marketing/advertising and accounting and finance contract staffing assignments.
Lori Jacobs joined Ives & Associates in 2011. She has nearly 10 years of experience in recruiting, having worked for both a search firm as well as a Fortune 500 company. Although she has worked with a variety of companies in many industries including retail, financial services and consumer package goods, she currently specializes in the manufacturing and medical device sectors recruiting engineering, sales/marketing and distribution/logistics professionals.
